CHAPTER 5
Hegemony Prison Compound D-654B, Aratoht; Bahak System, Viper Nebula
Shepard unloaded himself off the Kodiak shuttle, casually scanning his surroundings for potential threats. As quickly as it arrived, the shuttle departed. The pouring rain rolled off Shepard's armor like water on a duck's feathers. He employed the breather attachment of his helmet to prevent the incoming precipitation from entering through his open visor.
Sensing no immediate danger, Shepard reached for the Revenant on his back, making his way towards a rusted door as the weapo

Normandy SR-2: Deck 2, Combat Information Center; Viper Nebula, Bahak System
"The Batarian Hegemony considers any presence of Alliance military vessels in batarian space as hostile," EDI began. "The Normandy SR-2, while an independent vessel, strongly resembles the Normandy SR-1, an Alliance ship. Use of stealth systems is highly recommended."
"You get that, Joker?" Shepard asked the pilot.
"I hear you, mom," Joker replied as he activated the stealth systems. "Take a cookie from the jar, but don't let dad see me."

Docking Area B-221, Citadel: six standard hours and two minutes following return from Omega 4 Relay
The crew of the Normandy SR-2 disembarked onto the Citadel for a much-needed shore leave. Shepard had given them the announcement about leaving Cerberus earlier, and if any still wished to remain with the organization, they could depart when they reached the Citadel.
None of them departed.
Shepard and the rest of the squad began discussing their plans.
"I'm going to go hit some clubs," Jack announced. She was wearing a black biker vest, with low-slung jeans and steel-toe boots. Shad

It's been a busy month, I can say that much. Since chapters 3-5 of 'Mass Effect: Succession' have gone up, work has increased and what minimal free time available has decreased. Lately I've been able to find the time to think of more potential fictions to write up and post here for your viewing pleasure.
I have thought of one additional 'Mass Effect' fiction with some original characters, but most of the ideas have been centered around the upcoming MMO 'Star Wars: The Old Republic.' Always been a huge fan of the science fiction saga, and an even bigger fan of the Old Republic era that BioWare has been fleshing out little by little over the y
I'm glad I had the day off today. I've been going nonstop since last night writing Chapters 3-5 for 'Mass Effect: Succession'. After recording every piece of dialogue from the 'Arrival' DLC, I was able to construct a basic skeleton for the upcoming chapters. Of course, I'll be adding in scenes with the various squad members, expand a bit on some of their little adventures. Chapter 6 might take some time though; duty calls at the beloved local post office. But someone has to help sort through your mail, right?
I'd also like to give a big shout out to all the people who contribute to the 'Mass Effect' wiki site. It's helped me a lot so far wit
The last piece of downloadable content for 'Mass Effect 2', dubbed 'The Arrival' has a release date for March 29th, a lot sooner than I expected.
Thankfully, that means Chapter 3 of 'Mass Effect: Succession' will be up sooner than I expected.
Sure, I say that every journal entry, but the third installment in the fiction might actually be a reality now. Hoozah!
EA has been releasing screenshots for the newest DLC over on the Facebook page for 'Mass Effect 2', putting another one up after each screen received a certain amount of views or likes or something like that. Recent news has stated that 'The Arrival' will not be a bridge between 'Mas
